ABOUT US

The Singapore Women’s Water Polo was first formed in 1998. Since then, we clinched the first ever SEA Games Gold medal for the sport at Palembang, Indonesia in 2011 and have gone on win the silver medal at the 2015 and 2017 SEA Games. The team has also participated in other international competitions including the Asian Games and FINA World Championships.

We envision to be a smard-working (read: smart + hard) and cohesive team that is committed to pursing excellence and bringing glory to the country.

The current team comprises ladies from diverse backgrounds in their mid-teens to twenties who concurrently balance water polo with studies or their full-time jobs.
